This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A am a 7th grade ELA, special education teacher in an urban community. My students are visual and auditory learners with vast imagination. They have difficulty reading, writing as well as remaining focused and on task. Technology is a key to success. The children will use iPads as a learning tool.
My students all have learning disabilities with a variety of different individual needs.
However, technology can assist them all in the learning process. Being given a visual aide that is tangible will greatly benefit my students. They are visual and auditory learners. iPads can address the needs of the entire class.
My Project
My students are visual and auditory learners. They will use the iPads as a tool to aide in learning. They will conduct research. They will have the opportunity to use the internet and to go on educational websites to reinforce recently learned strategies.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom because the iPads will be used as a learning tool.
The iPads will allow my students to have access to a whole new world. Technology will aide in their learning.
