My students want to be part of every lesson we use the interactive board for and currently we waste so much time going back and forth to our seats. An interactive slate board would allow more students to participate in the lesson especially those who are shy or have special needs.
My students attend second grade in a Connecticut public school system.
They make up a very diverse group of students who are eager to use technology during lessons in all subject areas. Ever since we received our interactive board in January they have been so excited to learn!
My Project
This interactive slate will allow myself to control the interactive board from anywhere in the room. It will allow kids to participate in the lesson without leaving their desk! Currently, every child needs to leave their desk and go to the front of the room in order to enter an answer, but with the slate board it can be done right from their desk without wasting any time.
Not only will this interactive slate board save time, but it will give students who are shy or have special needs a chance to be interactive and participate in the lesson without having to be in front of the whole class.
