As a second grade teacher in the Stamford Public Schools for the past 16 years at Davenport Ridge, I have enjoyed every year and couldn't imagine working anywhere else! Greeting & Interacting with the smiling faces of my phenomenal students is very rewarding. We have a very diverse group of students with various talents and personalities. With the increasing budget cuts in educational funding in our city it is trying at times to pay for supplies out of my own money. I do what I can to make sure my students have an enriching experience at school. Regardless of our shortcomings on supplies my students come to school every day ready to learn and determined to be the best they can be and work with what we have and can truly thrive when provided with appropriate curriculum and learning materials. Your donations make all the difference in the lives of my students here at school.
