My Project

Technology is an everyday staple amongst my Biology I and Biology II classes. With a curriculum that includes many online computer simulations and models, access to the internet through a Chromebook is an ongoing need. These three Chromebooks will help to improve that access to my science students. Chromebooks have a life expectancy, and many of the ones we have available to us now are reaching the end of that life expectancy. It is important, and necessary, that we replace these older computers with ones that are more reliable.

With these Chromebooks, my students will be able to model ecological interactions, visualize the process of photosynthesis, and even simulate the replication of our genetic code!

They will also be able to complete curriculum documents and resources, and do ongoing research throughout the course of the year. In a technology-growing world, it is important that we allow our students the ability to use these tools to help in their educational journey.
