Technology and Supplies for Students to Design Class Stickers

My Project
This year, I am co-teaching a Computer Applications class for English Language Learners, in which they will learn about Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Photoshop. For a class project, I want my students to design their own stickers in Power Point and/or Photoshop, and then have the technology and supplies available to create the physical stickers themselves in person. My students immigrated to New York from all over the world, including from Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. They probably did not have access to this technology and supplies in their home country, so I know that they will learn a lot through this project and also be very engaged in the results.
Through designing these stickers in Photoshop and then creating the physical stickers with a Cricut machine, the students will be engaged in trial and error and learn new technology and manufacturing processes.
For this technology project, I am firstly requesting an Epson Ecotank printer that will be used to print the students' designs in full color. I am also requesting a Cricut machine that will be used to cut out the stickers after they have been designed. Lastly, I am requesting stickers sheets (matte and glossy) and cardstock so that the students' designs can be printed on sticker paper. I am also requesting several accessories that are necessary for the Cricut machine to create these stickers, including basic tools like a squeegee, paper cutter, corner rounders, lint rollers, a cutting mat, and a roller. These are all necessary in order to get the best results. Through this project, the students will have the opportunity to practice new vocabulary words related to Photoshop design, technology, Cricut machines, and sticker manufacturing through this sticker creation project.
