This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Kindergarten students enjoy being challenged through working through manipulatives, such as computer-based, cutting, and gluing. They love to work independently through trial and error. In my classroom, we believe in learning through our mistakes.

This year has been a special year as my students only know how to be in school through this pandemic era.

My goal this year was to help my students find the love of learning and growing through pandemic-impacted learning while still exploring and having fun.

My Project

The resources asked for will help students to learn through working hands-on using their own materials to prevent sharing and reducing the points of contact to be COVID-19 safe. For example, the headphones will be used by students when using their classroom Chromebooks when it is time to work independently without distracting those around them with the sound. The academic games will be used for small-group pullouts to help target the academic goals and needs of students through fun and interactive games. Lastly, the everyday supplies allow my students to continue their creativeness and continuous practice to learn through hands-on learning with the class as a whole.
