This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The Resource Classroom is a place for students to come in and request support in any area they are struggling both academically and personally. Students who enter the classroom have disabilities and are a part of the Special Education program, meaning they are in need of additional supports that enable them to learn and be successful in school.

The students I teach are a part of the Special Education program at our school and the resources needed will benefit students with disabilities.

My Project

The materials listed on our projects are to benefit the Special Education Classroom. We are in need of five Chromebooks for more technology, and classroom supplies for all of our students who receive special education services on our campus.

These materials will benefit students by having the access to technology in the Resource Room whenever it is needed.

Some of these materials also include basics like colored pencils, binders and markers, that are essential for leaning projects.

Also, we have included a few items that would be considered luxury items, such as headphones, a whiteboard easel, and a projector are things we need that are not a part of our classroom at the moment and would benefit more whole class interaction but also individual moments of concentration.
