Technology Accessories

My students need mice with cords that they can use with their Chromebooks during the school day. They also need headphones with a mic to record their presentations.

My Students

I work with 50 awesome, energetic, 6th graders in science and math! I love to try new ways to incorporate science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) learning into my classes. Giving my students interesting, age-appropriate, hands-on lab materials helps push them to try new things. My students truly enjoy learning about the world around them and how quickly it changes. Providing opportunities to see how concepts relate to life creates a passion and excitement in my students and hopefully drives them to find ways to make the world a better place.

My Project

My students are allowed to use individual Chrome books several times throughout the school day. However, many of my students have a hard time maneuvering the cursor without a working mouse. We have a few wireless mice available, but the batteries are constantly needing to be replaced. Mice with cords would help remedy this situation and allow my class to be more independent and focus on learning. Headphones with an attached microphone will allow the students in my class to record their voice and complete projects-even with background noise. These materials will help my students continue to grow and learn while using technology.
