This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of the assignments in my Language Arts class require immediate internet access. Most seniors in my classes have a phone they can use, but occasionally, one or two students lack these devices and I have to lend them the laptop I use in the classroom. I need to move around a lot to assist them and monitor their work, so when I am without my laptop, the whole class falls behind in one way or another. Therefore, a laptop for students' use has become a need in my classes.
Having students complete online research or simply looking up words in an online dictionary is part of what we do daily.
This laptop will allow students without a phone to perform better.
