This project will provide incentives for students to interact with other students who share their same interests. They will engage in communal fun activities that will help them unwind and forget about the problems and difficulties they face. In addition, during the tutoring sessions, students will learn and improve their communication skills while teaching struggling students who need assistance in reading and those whose first language is not English. Students will feel identified with the club and their peers using their club shirts during school-wide activities and club socials.
By participating in club activities, at-risk students are encouraged to stay in school, while improving their communication skills in a relaxing and socially healthy environment. Club officers improve their leadership skills as they interact with other club leaders and help the school community become more integrated.
About my class
