At the end of the year, I would like my students to be more technologically savvy. I would like to bring my students to the 21st century with the access of technology in the classroom that are not readily available at home or do not have the opportunity of having access to.
The students of my classroom English language learners of different levels.
The students of my classroom come from low socioeconomic families. Despite this, the students of my classroom are eager to learn. Our school is a K-5 Title 1 school and the student population makeup are mainly African American and Hispanic students.
My Project
With the new technology, I will be able to bring the world to these students who do not have the opportunity to leave their neighborhoods. I will be able to integrate project based learning in which students will learn to do research and incorporate different subject areas.
This project will motivate my students and bring excitement into the classroom.
They will be better prepared for the shift in technology that schools are heading to in order for our students to compete with the rest of the world.
