My Students

My classroom consists of eighteen, little learners who come from diverse backgrounds. I teach in a low economic district where the kids absolutely love to come to school and learn.

I am a co-teaching classroom with special education students who work extremely hard every single day.

Each year, the students come into my classroom with the biggest smiles, which makes me want to make each day extra special and provide them with learning tools to make learning easy and fun. Students love working together and I love to promote that in my classroom.

My Project

The chromebook that I am requesting in this project will change the lives of so many students. Most students in my classroom do not have access to a computer at home. Students will have access to a chromebook at their seat to work on projects, research, play learning games, and have an interactive learning choice during centers. In my classroom, the computer is a huge motivator for many of my students. Within my inclusion classroom, my students have choices for rewards in correlation with their behavior plans. Almost all of these students choose computers as their free choice rewards. The engagement and enjoyment they get from learning. I would like to add this chromebook to our classroom to actively engage students while incorporating technology.
