This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m working in a 12-1-1 setting. All of my students have special needs and also come from tough living conditions. But what I love and admire about my students is their willingness to learn and their love for learning. School is a safe haven for them.

My plan for the headphones is to help my students concentrate while using apps for learning or taking an assessment.

Many of them tend to lose focus very easily. The iPads will also aid in assessments and teach them how to use technology properly.
