This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, inquisitive, and driven to succeed. After high school, they are excited to head off to college, the workforce, or the military. As we near the end of the school year, many of my students are preparing for state-mandated standardized tests, AP exams, and final exams. Note-taking is an important part of studying and learning that I emphasize in all my classes. I allow my students to use their notes during tests and quizzes to alleviate the anxiety associated with test-taking.

My students love using these erasable pens to liven up their notes and color-code important information.

While much of our class is digital, our note-taking is still done on paper. Geometry is full of diagrams, formulas, and definitions. Using color to emphasize key concepts helps these concepts stick! Most students use colored pencils but they tend to go dull, break, and aren't easy to erase if you make an error. They love the vibrant colors of my erasable pens. Unfortunately, I don't have enough in my personal stash to share with all of them. Please help my students have a successful end to the school year by supporting my project that will stock our classroom erasable pen supply!
