My Students
Although much of our student population lives in some form of poverty, my students are charismatic, energetic, loving, and intelligent. They never cease to amaze me with their love and desire to gain are knowledge. Each day my students inspire me. They teach me that the more that I am teaching them, the more that they are teaching me in return. My students are writers, authors, editors, and thinkers!
Building and teaching a passion for learning and growth is priority in our classroom!
My Project
OSMO is an interactive software that allows what students do on their desks and their work mats to come to life into an interactive digital world. The OSMO genius kit will allow my students to interact with technology in a way that will give them the opportunity to have their own store to practice counting money and addition/subtraction skills, coding their own digital robots, using creative writing, practicing patterns with dice, creating shapes, and so much more! We are also in need of a few protective iPad cases in order to make sure that our technology stays safe and secure because accidents do happen!
