This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is comprised of children from various backgrounds who's parents all share one common goal: quality education. Most have transferred to our small school because it is known to be one that fosters a love for academics in an engaging and successful way.

Ours is a fine example of how success in academics does not necessarily equate to an exuberant amount of funding.

We rely on things like donors choose to bring life to the skills we teach our students.

My Project

Today’s classroom requires students to be actively engaged in what they are learning while also requiring teachers to be continuously on the move. Having Apple TV in the classroom allows for both of these things to happen on a continual basis. iPad usage will be something that my students use to show what they know throughout the school year. The Apple TV will allow me to work with my students and display real world learning without being tied to the front of the classroom. It will also create a venue for them to be able to display projects and encourage academic talk amongst peers.
