My students are so creative, funny, and full of personality. They have such a desire to learn as well. So many of them will complete extra work on their own just to help their learning. A lot of the students in our school district have many challenges at home and it really makes me proud that my students are taking charge of their own learning even at such a young age. They really try their best and make me smile every day!
My Project
My students will utilize the computers to help them incorporate technology into their learning. They love being able to go on various learning websites whenever they can get their hands on a computer during school. They also love presenting their learning to their classmates and being able to "be the teacher" to explain something they are proud to have completed. Having these computers will give my students the ability to create their own examples to demonstrate their learning and share with the rest of the class. It will also give my students the ability to practice the research and typing skills needed to complete different assignments.
