My Students
I have an amazing group of students and most have a great desire to learn. Unfortunately, my students face some significant challenges. I teach special education in a small school with limited resources. This grant targets my students with Autism and behavior related disabilities to help them calm down before outbursts or explosions occur.
My students have challenges ranging from Learning disabilities to Autism.
Despite the challenges, we face we are determined to build on student strengths to find success in each of their educations. Our unique challenges make us stronger.
My Project
Technology in our classroom has enabled us to make fantastic progress in the lives of our students. The adaptive software we use helps them to be successful and make significant gains in their educational development. The challenge we are facing is the Chromebooks and devices we are currently using are beginning to fail. They are in desperate need of replacement. While no technology can replace good teaching, right technology paired with the individual attention of a great teacher is extremely powerful in helping students. Please consider supporting us to provide the best possible education to our students with extreme needs.
