Tech Tools for Focused and Engaged Learning

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn. Many come from diverse backgrounds and face challenges that can make learning more difficult—whether it's limited access to technology at home or difficulties focusing in a shared classroom environment. They thrive when given the right tools to support their learning styles and needs.

This project is about creating a more focused and inclusive learning environment by providing quality headphones and additional laptops for our classroom.

Headphones will allow students to engage in online lessons, literacy tools, and personalized learning programs without distractions. They’re especially critical for students who benefit from read-aloud features, quiet work time, or adaptive learning platforms.

The extra laptops will reduce the time students spend waiting to access technology. Right now, we often have to share devices, which limits our ability to complete research projects, access learning platforms, and work on multimedia assignments. More laptops mean more equitable access and more time for learning.

What We Need are the following:

Durable, comfortable headphones for regular use.

A few Chromebooks/laptops (or tablets, if preferred) to expand tech access.

With headphones and additional laptops, my students can work independently at their own pace, participate more fully in digital learning, and develop 21st-century skills. These resources will especially help students with learning differences, language needs, and those who simply need a quieter way to learn.
