This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how innovative, determined, and collaborative my students are. My students bring unique perspectives and a deep desire to connect, express themselves, and make a difference in our school community. They're not just learning content but also learning how to use technology responsibly to amplify their voices in powerful ways.
These resources will give my students the tools they need to develop digital literacy, express creativity, and collaborate on real-world projects.
The Apple iPad Mini will provide access to language learning apps, design tools, and multimedia platforms that help students learn and create at their own pace. With the Apple Pencil, they’ll be able to sketch, annotate, and illustrate ideas visually an essential skill for students still acquiring English and looking for opportunities to engage with content in a different way.
The iPhone 16 will allow us to document learning, create videos, and communicate with families. It will also help students capture photos and content for projects.
Together, these tools will empower students to design flyers, posters, and artwork for school events, giving them a voice in shaping school culture and pride. This project will push them to innovate, think critically, and build 21st-century skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
