My Project
This fall will begin a new adventure for me as I am moving over to 4th grade! At the moment, it is still summer break and I have not met my individual class yet. That said, last year’s third grade cohort was full of motivated and eager students. My goal is to create an environment in my classroom that puts every student in a position to be successful.
By having class sets of headphones and mice, the students can interact more effectively, efficiently, and independently with their devices.
The baskets and black bags will be used to keep their technology tools protected and organized. The students will then learn how to care for their own materials and help with the overall classroom organization.
Creating a safe and inviting classroom environment is one of many factors that contribute to a student's desire to come to school each day. The fluorescent ceiling lights give the space an industrial and institutional air. My goal is to use the light covers to give the room a more calming feel. The relief covers will also create a better lighting dynamic when using the overhead projector.
