My Students

I will be teaching language arts for 6th grade students at a local middle school. While I have not met my students yet, I have no doubt that they will be intelligent, caring, and hard-working students. I will be teaching students who come from a variety of different backgrounds, and many of them would benefit from having the technology needed to complete different assignments and course work.

Each of my students will showcase their abilities in different ways, and I want to make sure they are provided with what they need to succeed in my classroom.

Middle school is fun because the students are discovering more about themselves and how they learn best, and they are enthusiastic and eager to learn as much as they can.

My Project

The use of technology in classrooms has increased over the years. Students can use technology to learn in ways that they respond to best. With Covid changing how students will return to class this fall, we are taking certain precautions to ensure that students and faculty will remain as safe as possible. Due to this, many lessons and activities will be administered through technology, and students will be able to utilize their own devices to complete assignments, access textbooks online, and communicate with their teachers. Unfortunately, not all students have access to the devices needed, and I can’t afford to provide them on my own. These tablets will help me keep my classroom as sanitary as possible, and will allow students in need to get what they need in order to succeed. The great part is that these tablets will be used throughout the years, not just because of Covid.
