Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have an amazing group of talented middle school students who have had dedicated instruction in Science, Technology, and Engineering since kindergarten. They are tomorrow's innovators!

Our students are often challenged to find solutions to real-world problems around them in all of their classes.

We offer our students an elective class throughout the year that includes LEGO robotics. Students are always excited to participate in building and coding their LEGO robots to accomplish missions for the First LEGO League. This year we are hoping to have a team participate in a competition in our city. We are currently using the Chromebook beta version for our robots. Our coding and robots would run more smoothly using the Spike App that is available on Apple iPads. With your help, we can reach our goal of competing in the First LEGO League Competition.
