My Students
I teach a class of wonderful students with special needs in third through fifth grade. They come from diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic backgrounds as well. Our school is centrally located in Los Angeles and is a part of LAUSD. Each child in my class brings a unique view of learning.
My Project
We are in need of new laptops for myself and my teacher assistant. We have been working with old and outdated devices and have not been able to properly utilize all the available technology and access all the available learning materials. Our school does not have the means to provide new devices for all the teachers and their assistants. My assistants are with me all day and help support my students in a variety of ways.
Help us set up distance learning for us and our special needs students with new laptops.
These devices will allow us to be more efficient and properly address all of my student's needs. We use technology on a regular basis in the classroom. We use it for math, language arts, science, social studies, art, and even physical education.
