Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come together from all different backgrounds and home situations. School is a place to connect and interact with peers and they look forwards to it! Most of these students have been together since Kindergarten or Preschool and have built relationships that will be hard to say goodbye to at the end of Elementary school.
5th grade is a year of growth and change and they approach it with kindness and understanding that not everyone's situation is alike.
These students have so many things to learn this year, and fortunately, we have a lot of different ways to learn it!
You would be impressed with the ways students learn and put together projects. There are videos, audio, building virtually and in person, and more. Often times we are watching videos, reading in groups, and piecing together projects all at the same time. This can get tricky with multiple students and all the sounds. A little extra technology would really help us achieve our goals effectively!
