My Students

My kindergarten students are hands-on learners. They are eager to work and insist on keeping busy. As they transition from work station to work station, these young learners are motivated by interacting with materials independently, rather than listening and watching the teacher all of the time. Working with technology will promote positive learning experiences. These students are new to school and need to be motivated at this early age. Engaging them with technology is a vital part of their leaning!

My Project

We live in a technology enriched world! Today, technology can be used to motivate young learners and differentiate instruction.

My students experience learning through cooperative work, play and hands-on activities. My classroom is lacking technology which is in high demand with Kinders! There are so many ways to use tablets in the classroom. Not only will they become familiar with the functions of the tablet, they will also be able to learn and demonstrate their skills using technology. The application on the tablet can be chosen based on skill and performance of each individual student.
