This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their determination to learn and their joy in every small discovery. They come from diverse backgrounds, and many face barriers outside the classroom—but they show up every day ready to grow. Their curiosity, creativity, and resilience inspire me.

Many of my students don’t have access to technology at home, which makes it harder for them to build the digital skills that are becoming essential, even in early education.

iPads in our classroom will help level the playing field. With access to apps like Connect ED (McGraw Hill), Starfall, and Prodigy, students can strengthen their reading, math, and language skills in fun, interactive ways that match their learning pace.

These iPads will also support students with special needs by offering visual, auditory, and tactile ways to engage. They’ll be used during small group rotations, centers, and independent learning time—helping every student feel successful, included, and capable.
