This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology has become an essential part across all classrooms in the nation. Having a class set of chargers will allow more students to participate in class who forget to bring theirs or have lost their chargers and cannot afford to buy a new one.

Extension cords make it easier for students to plug in their computers without being confined to certain areas of the classroom.

Many students also request to use headphones and computer mice as the headphones allow them to hear videos better and the computer mice allow them to use their computer easier.

Students are more willing to participate and engage in the classroom lesson when they have the tools they need to succeed. Recently the speakers and audio in my classroom stopped working which has caused difficulty with providing audio scaffolding for students. Wireless speakers will allow me to continue incorporating science videos and clips for phenomena and inquiry-based lessons.
