Tech Talk With ELL Students

Help me give my students an iPad to allow me to communicate more effectively with my ELL (English language learners)!

My Project

English language learners are a growing part of my classroom. I am looking for effective ways to support these learners and help them feel more comfortable and safe. I believe an iPad is the ideal device for personalizing their learning by helping to strengthen their language skills and help bridge the gap of communication between teacher and student. This device will help ensure the students success by allowing me to check for comprehension and understanding.

An iPad will allow my students to take charge of their learning by allowing them to become more independent by providing them the ability to tailor their learning to their own specific needs.

An iPad can become almost any tool that my students may need—a camera, a translator, a book, and so much more!

Please help me build better relationships with these students by allowing them to flourish in an environment in which they feel supported and heard!
