Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a collective group of enthusiastic five and six years old who love learning! The majority of my students are from rural and military backgrounds. They are all worthy of extensive meaningful learning.

My students bring me so much joy.

I love seeing them love to learn. Kindergarten is the building block to all other grades. Meaningful learning and fun exploratory experiences make my students eager to learn more and more each day. My students love to learn!

My Project

Many of my students travel from year to year, place to place, due to military orders. Many of my students lack the enthusiasm for learning and reading. Some of my students are EL scholars and have a language barrier hindering them from reaching their full academic potential. They are all very smart and sweet but need an extra incentive to reach their academic goals this year. By adding one Samsung Tablet to our class will help with lack of enthusiasm and the language barrier during reading and math time.

My students will become independent readers and higher order thinking students with the help of this digital aide.

My students will also learn the skill using twenty-first century technology for their future.

My students will use this Samsung tablet during small groups reading time, during math centers, and during Fun Friday enrichment times.
