My Students

My classrooms are structured to support the academic and social emotional growth of our children. As a resource teacher, my students often process information in a variety of ways. They need visual, auditory, and kinesthetic means integrated into curriculum. Through a variety of modalities, students work on their reading, math, and organization skills.

My students are clever and beautifully unique.

However, they have struggled to learn within the mainstream classroom. They are capable humans and can thrive with our support.

My Project

The addition of Chromebooks in the classroom will be a step towards a functioning class set. With constant advancements, our students need to build their ability to use the internet, identify valid sources, build typing skills, and much more. Chromebooks in our classroom will help them build skills that will help them through life.

Technology in the classroom is a vital asset to future generations.

Online literacy and math programs can provide differentiation when I am working on other skills with another student. It allows me, as a teacher, to ensure purposeful academic time. A set of Chromebooks will allow my students access to online educational programs that will support them within their zone of learning.
