Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consist of 50% English language learners and 50% general education students participating in a dual language program. Students scaffold each other in content as they learn their second language from peers. Although they have a distinct native language, they have a common economic background.

What I love about all my students is their love for learning and energy they bring to the class and if this project gets funded it will support their enthusiasm even more throughout the year!

My Project

All students regardless of their tier level will have access to incorporate technology in their every day learning. They may use Chromebooks to enhance skills they may have not yet mastered and to complete class projects.

For example in reading, writing and math I may assign activities in Chromebooks to support each student individual needs and by tier level.

Students may have access to their programs throughout the days to come throughout the year. This will give them access to being able to take advantage of all programs to help them grow in their individual areas.

As for projects, they may use technology and printer to research and print their projects for each and every content are. They will all be motivated to learn.
