Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Who's a champ?" " I'm a Champ!" My students chant out loud every day to remind themselves that they are the champions in learning.

The sparks for learning start in the heart of these little children in Kindergarten.

My students are bilingual learners in Korean English Dual Language program. More than half of them are ELD learners and they need effective educational aids and supplies to support their learning and continue to grow as a champion. Having access to new learning materials that meet their needs in second language acquisition will broaden their young mind and assist them to become a successful learner they hope to be when they shout out, "I'm a champ!"

My Project

Kindergarten students in my class use technology devices for learning every day. I, as a teacher, use technology to plan and prep for their enhanced learning every day too.

It's a known fact that students as little as Kindergarteners need to be in a tech-friendly learning environment to be college and career ready.

With technology equipment, such as a new printer for teacher-made resources and new iPad cases for safe use of iPads, students can have easy access to up-to-date learning resources and eventually, their learning goals will be efficiently and effectively reached.

Both students and I hope to feel successful in our work by being equipped with the technology learning essentials in the classroom.
