My students need an additional laptop and magazine subscription in the classroom because my class size has grown. I started the school year with only 13 students, and now I have a total of 33 students. This donation will help.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This school year I have a total of 33 students from different backgrounds. I have six first graders and 27 gifted second grades in a combination self-contained gifted classroom . This self-contained gifted group receives all their curriculum with me during the school day. I love to provide my students with as many resources available. My school is a title one school and the majority of all students are on free or reduced lunch and many of them don't have access to resources at home. I enjoy making their school year as enriched as possible to give them one hundred percent educational satisfaction. I love to expose my students to different genres and styles of literature. With the help of a donor, I can enrich my classroom.
My Project
Materials and extra resources must be available to students at all times. With the help of Donors Choose, I can give my students the extra supplies they need to master their school year. I request technology and Time For Kids weekly readers to give my students a connection with the latest news and updates in the current world.
Being in a tech frenzy world, it is imperative to keep the trend of technology moving.
The items donated will improve my gifted students to reach mastery this school year.
Last year I used all the items with my students and even created a lab zone with the chrome notebooks I received. This year I plan to make the learning zone bigger by adding more technology and resources for all my students.
The classroom is the second home for my students and I plan to make it as comfortable and resourceful as possible. With the assistance of DonorsChoose, the possibilities are endless.
