My Project
Our school offers sessions three times a week in which students can get extra help in their core classes or have a chance to choose an open session as a reward for good grades.
My session gives those students an opportunity to engage in meaningful relationships by competing in friendly board/card games. Students can choose a game to interact with their peers or some sessions will include a specific type of game that includes all students that have signed up for that session.
Covid -19 limited the chance of personal social interaction. Students are learning how to interact with their peers in situations that do not include technology. This will help them gain social and emotional interaction.
