My Students

My students are a sweet and inquisitive group of 1st through 3rd graders in a multi-age Montessori Charter classroom. They love reading and are excited about my new material and learning about different cultures. Through their Montessori learning they make plans for their week and learn to achieve milestones and meet deadlines. Our school is very old and the students need updated materials to help them thrive and grow into the humans they are meant to be. I just love them to pieces!

My Project

Help me give my students a computer so they may start understanding the world of technology, research, and keyboarding. This not only will help general curriculum and student growth, but several dyslexic or special needs learners! This computer will be used to teach Keyboarding without Tears, prepare the students for standardized testing, as well as broaden the students’ understanding of technology and safe use and practices in our digital world. My students don’t have access to a computer in the classroom as of now, and I find they need it for extensions to their lessons. Any help is appreciated!
