Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Middle school is such an important time in a child's life and it can be some of the hardest years they encounter. As scholars struggle to figure out who they are socially, it should be easy for them to excel in the classroom and showcase their academics in a way that helps them find out who they are.

By helping my students to achieve their academic goals, I hope to inspire them to dig deep and push themselves to become the best versions of themselves through some of the hardest years of their development.

My Project

The materials in this project will be used daily in the classroom to elevate student learning. Each classroom faces its own challenges surrounding accessibility for their students and the materials in this project will allow my students to access all necessary components to maximize their learning.

The class set of headphones will be used daily for watching videos and listening to read alouds, so that each student can learn at their own pace and with the proper accommodations.

The projector will allow me to project our key ideas and essential questions to an additional wall in the room to ensure that all students can see and understand the content being taught. Additionally, the HDMI cord and connector will aid in setting up the projector connection with my computer.
