My Students

My 3rd grade students at CSES are from diverse cultural, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds, bringing together a wealth of information and experiences from around the city of San Francisco, as well as around the world. In our class, you will find a large range of student abilities and talents, in the areas of education, arts and music, sports and much more.

Located in the Lakeview Ingleside neighborhood of San Francisco, we have a chance to get out and around the city, learning about it's history and Landmarks and, in turn, becoming more knowledgeable San Franciscans.

My Project

This project will allow me to have a complete class set of Chromebooks, one for each student, and will make them accessible at anytime throughout the week. This will make the time we use the Chromebooks very efficient and therefore, save us time in everything we do. The Chromebooks also give the students a nice place to store many of their documents because they can access their google drive accounts. This makes it much easier to keep track of assignments that they need to turn in to me or are working on with another student. When everyone has their own laptop, it makes the students more responsible for the work they are doing, and it also makes them feel more professional and respected as a learner.
