This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan to use these materials to create a tech-charging station in my classroom. Our school curriculum is online-based, meaning students use chromebooks and other devices almost daily to access materials and assignments. To ensure that all students are able to use their devices, I want to have an in-class charging station where I can safely charge them.

Technology access is essential for equitable class engagement, materials access, and tech literacy.

Having a safe and reliable charging station in the classroom will help ensure that students have access to their needed devices at all times, without missing out on instruction or losing their access to full class participation.
