My Project
Students learn best in an environment that they feel comfortable, safe, and gets them to engage. A floor table with floor seating gives my students an opportunity to work closely as a group or team, share ideas, discuss concepts, show creativity, and learn from others.
Working as a team is part of our state standards.
This setup gives my students an opportunity to work towards their standards in Speaking and Listening. It helps them to learn communication skills, socialize with others, be a listener and a speaker, and feel comfortable in a group.
