Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

My Project

My students are unique and special because they have been trying to survive in such a difficult world. Through these difficult times, children have been locked down and have not been able to work together. They are so special because these children are our futures. We need them to thrive and persevere through.

It was difficult for students to learn through COVID due to 6 feet distancing, face mask wearing and the fear of the spread of the disease.

Students were taught for 3 months at home. Some students were logging on and some weren't. Some students were doing their work, while others had family members doing it for them. It was unrealistic. The realization of the student learning was that we lost a good amount of time teaching students the basic concepts.

This breakout kit will teach students to work together and problem-solve as a team. This will also teach character development skills. The breakout kit will allow students to work together to figure out the puzzles in order to complete the task at hand. As the students work together, they are building better communication skills and use there critical thinking skills as a team.
