This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The discussions that we have had in our class dealing with bullying is spilling over into the younger grades and I am so proud of my students! Now, everyone wants to be a part of our bully free games at recess, so we need more equipment in an effort to include all children who want to participate.

My students face so many challenges, but they realize that education is the vehicle to drive them towards a more promising future.

With so many issues, it is my mission as their educator to take them away and rescue them from their pressing worries through the joys of meaningful experiences and exposure to what life has to offer.

My Project

The purchase of the dodge balls, footballs and soccer balls will make recess a time to be active and involved. Students will engage in fun, organized games, that promote teamwork and spirit. Working together is a skill that must be learned at an early age. Luckily, this lesson can take place in the classroom, as well as on the playground, with your help.

The physical and emotional health of an entire generation and the economic health and security of our nation is at stake.

This is not the kind of problem that can be solved overnight, but with everyone working together, it can be solved. So, "let us move." First Lady Michelle Obama, Let Us Move Launch! In addition to moving, we need to maintain a safe, friendly atmosphere for students to thrive in! Our NBA Zone (No Bullying Allowed) is changing the culture of our school! Help us keep this going!
