Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an ELA ESOL teacher, I am dedicated in creating an inclusive and engaging environment for my students can thrive. I've found that cooperative learning activities are particularly effective in achieving this goal, as they encourage collaboration and communication among students. For ESOL learners, in particular, these activities provide valuable opportunities to practice language skills in a real-world context while also fostering a sense of belonging within the classroom community.

To further enhance our cooperative learning experiences, I'm reaching out to request donations for floor seats in our classroom.

These seats will offer students a comfortable and flexible space to work together on various activities, promoting active participation and meaningful interaction. By providing an alternative seating option, we can accommodate diverse learning preferences and ensure that every student has the opportunity to fully engage in collaborative learning experiences.

Your support in providing these floor seats will not only benefit our ESOL students but will also contribute to the overall academic and social growth of all learners in my classroom. With your help we can create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to collaborate, communicate, and succeed.
