My class currently has three tables which is perfect for STEM projects. Students have built bridges, completed rock experiments, and created a maze for bots. However, we had to rotate students in and out of these STEM projects since we don’t have enough tables. Giving me students an extra table will allow students to feel included and have the same opportunity to complete STEM projects together. Instead of some students sitting at tables and other students sitting at individual desks, all students can sit at tables and work and learn together.

Students with special needs need to feel included within their own class and need to extra support in socializing with peers. This activity table will increase social skills and promote team work in STEM projects.
