This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Team Schmidt's classroom, we have limited space to store our supplies. We are currently using buckets that tend to fall off tables multiple times a week, resulting in a big mess. As first graders, my students are also still learning about organization and how to keep our spaces clean. These seat sacks will help tackle both of these issues by helping them keep their materials on the back of their chairs! I believe that this storage solution will encourage independence in my students and create more learning time.
