My students need lap desks to support writing and typing assignments while utilizing flexible seating options.
In addition, we would like to replace some of our crate seating (currently 10 seats) with more supportive ball chairs.
This project expired on December 25, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I coteacher in a truly wonderful and inclusive 3rd grade classroom. The needs of each individual child are met in many different ways throughout the year. Last year we were part of our school's Flexible Seating pilot program and had great success. Students were focused, engaged, and the flexible seating options helped build and maintain a strong classroom community.
This year brings a larger class and a better vision of what works well and what needs to be improved upon.
We need to update and replace some of our seating options and hope you can help. Team 3MM is so appreciative of any donation! Thank you!
Team 3MM had a successful first year with flexible seating. We are hoping to incorporate the ball chairs and lap desks to make it even better!
This year, we need to update and replace some items in order to continue to keep our flexible seating options safe, sustainable, and effective for our students.
The lap desks will provide support for student writing and typing assignments. They are easy to store and portable, making almost any corner of our classroom a seating option. They can also be used on the comfy chairs, ottomans, and crate benches already in place in the classroom.
The ball chairs will replace 4 of the 10 crate benches as an added table seating option.
