Teaching With Technology!

My students need two iPads to help bring technology into our classroom. The iPads will give my students that extra push to get them excited about reading and math!

My Students

My students are growing up in a time when the need for literacy in technology is a must! I teach in a rural town and a low income area. Many of my students only get exposure to technology at school and we do not have much there either. The requested iPads would a great addition to our classroom!

My students are an amazing group of kids.

Everyday they show me and everyone around them their limitless potential. I teach in a low income school and we lack in the technology department. Many of our resources are outdated and the newer items are few and far between. These awesome students of mine are so deserving of something new and fun to help them build their individual skills.

My Project

With an iPad there are literally hundreds of applications to help children progress in so many academic areas. I plan to implement a structured program for my students to aid them in reading, math and science. In my classroom there is a wide range of abilities. With all the different applications out there, I will have the ability to create a curriculum for those struggling students and at the same time be able to challenge those above average students. I have always been amazed at how quickly children can catch on to things, I am positive these iPads will be no different. I believe my students, like many others who have been given the opportunity to use this new technology, will be able to increase their academic abilities.

Not only will these iPads be well used and loved in our classroom, I believe I will see large amounts of progress in my all students!

I want my students to be able to embrace the technology that is out there and let them have fun doing it. They work so hard everyday. I want the best for them and I know they deserve nothing but the best!
