My Students

Kids today love technology! I hope to use this love to encourage the love of reading.

I have a class of 36 wonderful third graders.

We are in a public school in Florida. My class is a VE Resource class full of children who love school. We try to use technology as much as possible because it encourages the kids to ask questions and solve problems.

My Project

The Nook readers will help my students learn to love reading. The technology of the Nooks will help my reluctant readers and it will encourage all the students to read a greater variety of books. It will enable us to instantly download books we may need for class, getting information instantly!

Donations to this project will make a difference to the boys and girls in this class by showing them that other people, besides their parents and teacher, know how important it is for them to be able to read and enjoy it.
