This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Thinking about my first year teaching to now which I will be entering my 7th year teaching so many things have changes. As a teacher I have grown. I am able to see my students grow as well. Both my students and I come in each day to learn. In order to learn we both have to care about it!

The students of my school are amazing students.

They enjoy coming to school to learn. They come to school because they know they are going to get a great education but they also know that their teachers care about them. My students come from a neighborhood in poverty but that does not stop their learning. They do bring their problems to school but as the teachers we are there to help them get through it and still succeed. I absolutely enjoy working with my students each and every day!

My Project

The material that I am requesting is an Apple iPad. This technology will definitely benefit my students in my classroom. Technology plays a major role in students education in today's generation. There are so many ways I can use this Pad in my classroom. This pad will be used during center time and also during one on one instruction. There are so many different apps that students can use to strengthen their reading and math skills.

Funding this project will make a difference in my classroom big time.

Although we have a classroom computer, the pad with give students another outlet to learn. This project will help my students grow in their education.
