My Students
Can you imagine the excitement of receiving an interactive whiteboard in your classroom? The excitement soon fades as you realize you need to purchase interactive software to put this fantastic piece of technology to good use.
The students from our school live in a very rural area of Kansas. They come from five different communities. Our school consists of grades Pre-K through fifth grade. However, this donation would just benefit the K-2 students. We have approximately 15 students per grade.
My Project
We have been very fortunate to have our local telephone/cable business helping to support our school with updated technology. However, the software needed to effectively use this technology is not included. The software materials requested would enable our students to interact with our whiteboards. Students would be actively learning skills in all subject areas based on Common Core Standards.
Your donation to this project would make it possible for the students' ability to learn to be enhanced and improved. The excitement of using an interactive whiteboard verses worksheets is no comparison. A once boring classroom becomes exciting and enthusiastic!
